Just look at their record during early Nazi Germany, willing to sell out the Jews to curry a little favor with Hitler, I think I know whose side their on and it's not the good guys. Hidden remnants of a life past....
by AK - Jeff inas we sat rummaging through old files, clearing the clutter and removing dated receipts, canceled checks, and old employment information, i found them.
in a file, hidden somewhere between the mortgage papers and credit card statements, was a file marked 'theocratic info' or something to that effect.. my wife handed the file to me and asked what i wanted to do with this?
i shuffled through forty or fifty sheets of neatly typed notes, manuscripts, and printed forms.

I found a bunch of my Bethel records and files recently, I won't tell you how many years they go back but I have thought similar thoughts about what to do with what represents a big chunk of my life, like a letter from Knorr then Presidient of the Society to the Bethel family in 76 just after 1975 passed uneventfully, stonewalling any mention of it.
Question, when you burn that stuff do demons pop out? Or does it just smell like...

No this is not gunowners asking for Muslim registration, I am tired of the old racism by association trick used by the main stream media.

Unfortunately the OT doesn't give you any wiggle room if you take it literally you have to turn your back on modern science, unless you start to take it as parable.
And then why has religion through the ages always got it wrong, the earth is flat, it revolves around the sun, and those crazy medical beleifs. But science theories are always being proven wrong also.
So we live in world of uncertainty not really knowing nor will we ever know in this lifetime the absolute truth about eternity or the origins of humanity. This uncertainty can either bug the hell out of you or you can just accept it. Or you can put fanatical faith in a religion or science.

Whenever a politician says tax hikes for the rich he always means tax hikes for the middle class. When the middle class is gone who will pay for the poor, it sure ain't gonna be the rich buddy.

The controversy surrounding EPA's role in the oil spill marks a turning point for the Obama administration, which came to power vowing to repair the frayed relationship between scientists and government under George Bush and promising a new era of transparency.
Nine leading scientists have written a public letter calling on BP and the Obama administration to release all scientific data related to the spill, including wildlife death. "Just as the unprecedented use of dispersants has served to sweep millions of gallons of oil under the rug, we're concerned the public may not get to see critical scientific data until BP has long since declared its responsibility over," said Bruce Stein of the National Wildlife Federation."

The fundamental flaw with the WTBTS as "God's Organization"?
by Essan inthere are countless issues that people have with the society and which together have led to many people realizing that it is not what it claims and pretends to be.
these include things like the secret un affiliation, contradictory and hypocritical stances, (malawi vs mexico vs un/ngo), the ever changing blood policy and ever changing doctrine, failed predictions for armageddon etc, etc, etc.. but what is the consensus about what the fundamental flaw is?.
what i mean is, many jw's hear about these various issues and manage to make endless excuses for them, even though this involves gross hypocrisy and excusing the society for things they would never excuse in other religions and which the society itself has ruthless condemned other religions for over almost 100 years.

I think your question is best but the other fundamental question is since all their predictions in the twentieth century were wrong and Deuteronomy says that when a prophet phrophecies and what they say does not come to pass that is a false prophet and should not be listened to, in that case why does the Watchtower Society still exist?
